Flood Blues

Good day today. Filled up with porridge and fuel and then went off and busted my lungs in a 9 mile race over hill and dale through ankle deep mud and water, although I had a sense of humour failure at one point, I actually really enjoyed it.It would be a great run in the summer. There are quite a few photos taken by the rce organisers, but heres one of me at the top of "The Lungbuster" hill. A short, sharp vertical climb!Runner 66

This afternoon a friend kindly let me photograph her, so Im looking forward to sitting down and editing those this week.

I was chasing the sun all the way home as there was a shot I wanted to capture before the light totally fell and this is it, although when I drove past it this morning on the way to the race it looked better from across the road and up high in the van. Its pretty much straight out of the camera, with only minor editing to the edges and removal of a wire.

mr C and the munchkins have arrived back home, so time for cuddles.
