Rock n roll
Theo will be 9 months old this coming week and he's coming on in leaps and bounds.
I spent an hour with him and my sister, before the three of us headed to Mums house for a bit.
Seeing him at my sisters today he looked like a proper little lad. They've had a rough week with him though as his first tooth made an appearance. Not sure I said the right thing when I quipped 'only 19 more to go'!
Grandma had got him some lovely noisy toys to play with, which he also enjoyed chewing.
Sadly, Grandma also seems hell bent on ruining his teeth ASAP, giving him an ice lolly 'to cool his gums' which mummy had to eat as Theo didn't like it then suggested Ribena full sugar in his bottle!
It's a difficult position for me to be in, as I'm not his mum, but my principles from work just won't allow me to keep my mouth shut! Thus followed the Sunday sermon about grandparents rotting kids teeth! Mum argued 'but he likes it' but of course he does, it's full of sugar!
I had a quiet word with my sister to warn her off giving Ribena full stop in his bottle unless she wants him to have teeth like this!!
Prevention is always better than the cure!
