Wet wildlife walk

At what was undoubtedly the wettest part of the day, we headed to the Greenock Cut with K, L and C for a walk. At one point JT pointed up the hill to ask what that animal was; he said it's too big for a sheep. K thought it was a pig, L admitted later he thought it was a stone, C thought it was a goat. It turned out to a donkey (albeit a rather unusual colour). Just as we'd stopped laughing at the stupidity of that, K spotted some unusual grey sheep in another field. Turned out they were a really rare breed of sheep; aka Greylag geese. Oh dear; clearly everyone's blood sugar levels were dropping off or the rain had dissolved our brain cells. So home for a heat, some lunch and some chat. Thanks all for a fun day!
