Kelvingrove from Kelvin Hall steps

I visited the Vettriano exhibition today with Mum, C and A. It left me pretty cold; I liked a couple of them but found that seeing so many together highlighted the similarities and the stylised nature of his paintings. Lots of side on views, almost all the women looked the same and the people holding umbrellas on beaches got a bit repetitive. We didn't make it into the "Red Room", which the ticket seller told us was home to the erotic images. The 8 year old was very disappointed, but none of the rest of us were motivated to stand in the very long queue...

Anyway, culture ticked for the day / week / month and now a bit of chilling out before dinner.
