Sandstorm

The biting wind
Whips up the sand
From the drier heights of the shore
And hurls it
Along the empty beach,
Overlooked by Margate's past and future.

It was actually a bright, sunny day when I took this but I prefer the atmosphere in b/w and I think it captures the swooshing sand and its textures a little better. An enjoyable couple of hours in Margate, visiting Turner Contemporary, having lunch and then topped by a very indulgent hot chocolate. A quick blip, no time to catch up, will do later.
