SUNBURST

Spent the morning assessing in Glen Urquhart on Loch Ness
Then drove North East via Inverness and the Cromarty Firth
to Golspie in Sutherland.
The wind had died back and the sun came out
and a glorious stillness descended for the end of the day.
I stopped several times to take photographs
arriving after dark .
This shot is of the Cromarty Firth looking west
from somewhere near Evanton.
I actually stopped to photograph the oil rigs off Alness
but the sun made superb rays over the firth inland,
that were far more dramatic on the still water.
