Rising Tide 2

After Sunday's long exposure session and a request for the image in Black and White,
I had the perfect opportunity this evening.
It was already dusk and the image required a thirty second exposure
with an ND grad on the sky.
The wonder is I am taking photographs at 4.55pm,
only last month I was having to ensure the blip was in the bag by 3.30.
The photograph was very blue because of the low light with little tonal contrast.
The only colour was a hint of yellow on the foreground lichen.
The easiest solution was to change to mono and push process.
I opted for a square format as my wife suggested she preferred this,
to a more traditional 8 x 10
