Life is a vase of roses

Or it should be. Had my husband's family over for brunch yesterday as it was his day off. I made entirely too much food but as a family of fussy eaters, i think i managed to pull it off. This bunch of yellow roses was given to me by his parents. Bitterly cold afternoon but it seemed to brighten up the place.
