Fox Glacier

It has been the longest 240km I have ever done,left Hawea at 09:30 and arrived in Fox Glacier at just after 18:30. I tell you one thing the photo opportunities were incredible and MrsPuff and I travelled through some of the most spectacular landscapes and vistas you will ever see. Fox Glacier is retreating rapidly and the ice is very dirty. We stayed in some crap accommodation last night and the bloke helping out at this place spoilt the great job the nice lady did by being a right sharp pointy thing. What made up for the people upstairs with bowling ball feet and the snoring coming through the walls, is the views we saw that took our breath away.
