Another wine estate! This time as guests of friends from the estate. Lovely meal (and we're being so good! No carbs at all. My duck livers followed by eland steak didn't need any accompaniment. And we're feeling so good on it - so far).

This place makes quite a feature of the literally hundreds of ducks and geese that patrol the vines during the growing season, eating the snails and slugs.
