A little brightness.....

Woke to a cloudy sky in the west and a bit of brightness amongst some cloud in the east, a light shower or two came through and small gusts of wind seem to drift through the garden like waves out at sea. The temperature has plummeted, just a mere 12C at mid-day - summer has all but gone for this day.

I found this little calendula covered in droplets between the showers, just loved the wee aphid slinking off.

I'm delighted yesterday's monarch hit the spotlight, thanks so much for all the lovely words, stars and hearts :))

A night for comfort food - roast chicken and vege's, already prepared which makes a pleasant change. No flying, flapping or scurrying tonight, just taking it easy with perhaps a glass of Pinot Gris to enjoy.
