Don't panic!! I haven't been beaten up or stabbed by a nurse wielding a needle to take blood. This almighty looking horrible bruise on my arm is, according to the doctor, the result of an inflamed vein!! How does that even happen?! I know I have a reputation as often being a medical mystery, but this is taking it too far! :(

Oh well, at least I get to put my physiology/chemistry knowledge to good use as I've been given an anti-inflammatory gel to put on it, also known as an NSAID! (Surprised myself being able to remember that after almost 2 years away from uni!) haha!
