WINDY SHORE
at the sea. We had to cycle and look at the North Sea. Walk along the beach. Seeing all the gulls, standing together, flying suddenly up. A bright sun shining, a brisk wind. We walked too far, after yesterday's travel day. We seemed not to get enough of it. The sea, the waves, they have their own magic. Terrifying sometimes, thinking of what lurked humans into the sea. In their little boats, or swimming too far from the shore, feeling the threathening endlessness.
Mischa came and I had made a recipe from our new vegan cook book. She had so much to talk about, her work, her training, her magic little stories. And we too, we told of our little adventures in the Weser Uplands. And how Piet Hein did his exercises, took pictures, did write his journal every day.
Mischa helped to choose for both of us our blip-pictures.
We met a man at the beach, who took pictures of the special birds on the the shore, the ones we had hardly noticed. And he put his finds and pictures on: Waarneming.nl
My haiku:
The sea the same and
Still so different from other
Experiences
And the proverb:
Die in het riet zit, heeft goed pijpen maken.
The one who sits in the reed, can make really good pipes.
