VIEW FROM THE TRAIN
between Paderborn and Hamm, so this could be the church in Geseke (probably not), Lippstadt, Soest (no not Soest, the church of Soest is at the other side). Anyway I found it an amazing sight. And it turned out to be the Jakobskirche in Lippstadt.
Our travel went well, although we had an hilarious moment. Our connection in Duisburg would be 9 minutes and that is rather tricky business, as we know from other days. So we had taken a train one hour earlier and had a stop in Paderborn, drank coffee with 'Kuchen' there, but had not checked how late our train would start from there. Funny moment, the train had gone, but at the information we
learned soon enough that we could easily take another one.
We are tired, yes, but seeing the all blue sky in Holland, we hope for some more nice days to come.
Piet Hein, bold enough, walked to the head of one of our trains and took a picture of the train viaduct at Altenbeken, the viaduct is 160 years old.
My haiku:
Scenery simply
Changing all the time and we
We only stay the same
And the proverb:
Hij/She is de rijkste die er leeft. Die genoegt, met dat hij/zij heeft.
Translation: He/She is the richest that lives, who is satisfied with what he/she has.
