C is for...Cousins, Coffee and Conversations

Today a few of us cousins got together and did a little reminiscing. One of the things we remembered were the happy times together when we would get the giggles - sometimes our mothers did, too! The conversations over lunch were light-hearted and, at the same time went to a depth that comes only from sharing our heritage and knowing each other in the younger years. We ended our time together with a delicious dessert and coffee. The time went by so quickly and as we were leaving the chatting continued all the way to the door!

I chose to do an abstract photo at an unusual angle. It was an espresso cup buried in my coffee bean container shot from the top. As I was thinking about our visit this afternoon, I also thought of how many other conversations have happened over a cup of coffee. And, the time just seems too short when it's with friends and family.
