The Mail Must Get Through.....
We awoke in Exmouth to high winds and driving rain, after breakfast we made our way down to where the coach was coming to pick us up, it was high tide and high winds.
A few brave reckless souls ventured out in cars along the Esplanade but some turned back but not the intrepid Post Man, and when this and several other waves hit him he must have thought perhaps he should have turned back as his engine cut out and he was stranded right there.
Our driver managed to get the coach in to the hotel parking even though it was under water, and between us all we loaded all the cases and climbed aboard and off we set, leaving the water lapping at the hotels kitchen doors.
We arrived home around 5:20pm and BMJnr picked us up and drove us home.
I went to the shooting club tonight and shot my socks off again with 99/100, 100/100 and 100/100, not too shabby.
