Lichen again
Took this shot early on on the Cooriedog walk.
Today was the day the greenhouse needed to be prepared for its future role in seed germination and nurturing tender seedlings. The first act was top empty the greenhouse. There were things which belonged to the greenhouse and others which had taken up temporary residence. More than once I muttered 'so that's where it got to'.
Next, all the panes had to be washed down. I use a cleaning liquid recommended for this task and it will also clear drains. It is powerful stuff with a smell to match. Reminded me of old hospital disinfectant.
As I continued my work, I became soaked. I still haven't figured out how to wipe the inside of the roofing panes without a steady stream of cleaning liquid trickling down my arms and neck. That smell became attached to me.
The greenhouse is ready for the next stage - getting some bubble wrap insulation in. I had a shower and a good scrub. Deodorant was liberally applied.
'I smell that you've been cleaning the greenhouse.' said Ellen through her head cold when she got in from work.
