Mary Philips Spoons

Spent most of the day updating the Trophy Book at the Golf Club today.

This book has a picture and description of each cup that we play for each season with the details of who donated it and a list of all the winners.

Some of the trophies date back to the early 1900's and are quite valuable.

The one I have taken a picture of is the awarded for the best gross score in the Ladies 36 hole competition. The two silver spoons were for medals won by the donor in the 1930's. It is usually won by the lowest handicapper at the time. We all aspire to have our names on this trophy.
