Fireside

The weather outside shocking - again. Every time I venture out I have to grit my teeth. Even Frankie didn't want to get out of bed this morning. Went for an early morning run across fields where the mud was, at times, over my ankles. But this is nothing compared to other parts of the country where whole villages have been cut off for weeks. Retired to the warmth of the shed to write my piece for The Garden magazine and found Puss had already beaten me to it.
