Fiona's birthday

Over to MF tonight to F's party. The first time I think I'd ever seen her in a dress, a flattering black 1950's cocktail frock. Wonderful. Ros had made her a cake decorated with Mr. Mac, the horse, and a couple of icing dogs, Claude and Lily. Later Erika & I gave her our book and the look on her face when she saw it was worth all the hours of work we'd put in.
