" HERE COMES THE SUN "

Today we had sunshine and for the first time we were able to sit in the conservatory. Phoebe found a patch of sunlight and decided to sit on it to stop it escaping!!

We went for a lovely walk around the village this afternoon with Matthew and took some lovely scenes. But Mr A decided this had to be todays blip to cheer you all up.

The birds are so excited. I could hear the sparrows along the guttering twittering and getting twitterpaited! (a word from Bambi, for those not in the know!)

And all too quickly the day is nearly over and tomorrow Matthew will go back. Always sad after a superb weekend with him. We all watched Mr Selfridge and decided that Redflash has a double. The character called Lady Mae is just like her!!

Having just watched the weather forecast, wish I could have bottled the sunlight today and take the stopper out for a top up during the rest of the gloomy week ahead.

I was over the moon this afternoon when I managed to sing. Not up to the standard I expect but it was a start and enabled us to finally rehearse the new song. We are singing "Somewhere Only We Know", which most people remember as John Lewis used it for their Christmas Ad. Sung on the advert by Lilly Allen but was written by Keane.

Hoping you've all enjoyed a fantastic two days with loved ones. I know that is not the case for some and I hope that you have found joy in something.
