A weekend of domestic virtues with a few irritations dealt with. For example, we had enough glasses to run a fairly substantial bar - a legacy of 'you can never have too many glasses' thinking and frequent trips to Ikea. Also, we have been breaking less.
The space we had allocated was less than the space needed. I was reminded of this every time I went to put glasses away. With no space available, I felt I had to put the glass to use.
They now have a new home and now I can put glasses away confident there will be a space for them.
It is these simple things in life which make a difference. Other domestic irritations are looming.
I had a walk around the garden to note what was happening and, more importantly, what would need to be done. And, at this time of year, I remain optimistic that a high percentage of them will be done. This was a pre-walk shot of sunlight going through a pot plant.
