There Shires Head

Another dry day great !
So it was good to get some fresh air with a walk to Three Shires Head, where the river Dane flows under the 18th century packhorse bridge and the county’s of Cheshire, Derbyshire, & Staffordshire meet.

It can get quite busy at the weekend but today apart from a group of cyclists we were the only ones there.

The path was like a stream in places as the rain from the past few days/weeks was still coming of the moors, but it was nice to sit for a little while watching the river as it flowed past and down the valley.
