The Water shines, a Pebble skips across the face

The sea is the BEST thing in the world.

It is just there, at the edge of the land. Sometimes, it's a little closer to the land than people would like, but mostly it stays in it's own space.

Today, it was an exceptionally happy sea. It was excited to see the sun, and it was adoring the breeze; it was so happy, it was bouncing around all over the place, it was letting the sun dance all over waves, and the waves in turn sprinkled the sparkling drops all over the rocks.

The seagirls were sitting at the water's edge, warming their feathery bums on the grass, but enjoying the reflections from the sun and the waves together.

me? I was sitting on the wall a safe distance back from those waves who were trying to splash me, and maybe entice me into the water.
