Warming up #2

Jane and I cycled to The Fleece Inn at Bretforton this morning. There was a cold wind in our face on the way there and we were glad when this lad lit the fire by us.

The Fleece is owned by The National Trust and is a lovely place to cycle out to. In the summer it is heaving with people and even today all the tables were booked. However we were early and were able to use one of the pre booked tables.

10 years ago, The Fleece burned down after the thatch was ignited by a spark from the chimney. There are pictures in the link above. I'm surprised that they still have open fires - nice though!
