Sans shoes

Probably fair to say the day was slept away.
Had a sleep-in AND an afternoon nap.
Woke up a little sweaty as the 35 degree sun streamed in through the window.
Seems summer is early.

Watched an Iranian movie about female soccer fans called Offside.
Fiddled with the computer until we got the internet working again (thanks J!).
We cooked a delicious nasi goreng. Hands still smell of lime.
After dinner walk to take some photos and get ice creams.
Wandered down Chapel Street, amusing ourselves watching the worse-for-wear Derby Day goers stumble into bars and clubs.

In a carbon copy of yesterday, we walked home through the lightning. Less well-timed today... we jumped into a cab as the heavens opened to avoid getting completely soaked.

Going to Lorne for the day tomorrow. Forecast is for 26 degrees. Might be a nice day at the beach.
