Party Girls

So I almost finished the dress last night, but having been woken very early by text from a friend with some very sad news, I decided that late evening zip inserting was bound to fail.

Not sure what time J was up doing jigsaws, but he was quiet, so the rest of us had a good lie in. There was a welcome surprise of blue skies this morning, so I was sat in the sunshine sewing. Oh how much the sunlight lifts your mood.

It was an afternoon of parties for the girls. Firstly for me, at a friends pamper party, afternoon tea and a neck, shoulder and back massage. By then the rain clouds had appeared but who cares when you have endless cups of tea, cake and good company.

After that it was C's turn to party, in her new dress of course.
