Grey, grey, grey

But we were happy. Our monthly WI walk, which, at the beginning of the week, I thought would end up being rained off. We did, however, managed a couple of hours out on the moors before the rain started. It was far less muddy underfoot than I expected too. So we've made it through January without any snow, other than the odd flake. There are a few signs of spring, so maybe the children will be disappointed and have to wait till next winter to build a snowman.

Home in time for lunch, and to catch up with a few emails and jobs then the weekend can start.

It'll be a evening at the sewing machine for me as I promised C I would finish her new dress for the party she going to tomorrow.
