Some sun!

I saw sunshine today! Really! I did!

However - even though I sped out to Sunk Island I got no worthwhile photos.


The idiots with shotguns were out in force and it was very windy indeed, so all sensible wildlife was safely hidden away.

I bumped into a couple of birder friends and for a brief moment they thought a merlin had landed near us - but it turned out to be a kestrel. What a shame - I've never seen a merlin.

So I have had to rely on garden foxes again. Here's Mama fox about to take her meds sandwich. And as on previous occasions she took it away, but looked unimpressed!

Eventually she started to eat it - and then her flipping mate, Freddie, turned up and polished it off.

Grrrrr - greedy Freddie!
