Shard

After a modest amount of work and a little checking of the email it was time to head back to Kings Cross for the train. Gave myself enough time to walk (knowing that I'd be sat on my arse for five hours to Edinburgh), via a mooch around Borough market, which involved buying some New Forest cider (for research purposes). It was nice walking in the slightly cold, grey near-drizzle and London was nearly enjoyable for not being too hot. And since I'd not bothered with breakfast by the time I got to the station I was more than ready for one of the lovely salt beef sandwiches to be found there.

The train home was nearly three films long (Butch and Sundance, Die Another Day and Django Unchained) and the man doing the drinks trolley seemed determined to give away as much stock as possible - encouraging everyone to double-up each time he passed. It's in my nature to be helpful.
