That London
Early train to London, although with no working sockets and the usual crappy wifi work turned to doodling the other passengers and, if only I could draw better and faster, what might have been a weird composite landscape of little things that caught my eye as the train whizzed past. A pylon here, a van there, a chimney, some trees ...
London was my annual appraisal (still got a job) and then out for dinner with the other directors and then a sleeper train home. So midnight passed with me half pissed in the sleeper's lounge car drinking whisky with an SWP member I worked with 20 years ago. We considered commandeering the train and marching on Holyrood in the morning.
