Gusty

It's still in the 70's today but really windy. Blowing dust warnings have been up all day. The sun was out earlier but it's overcast now and looks like the cooler, and maybe damper, weather is moving in.

I have the Eastern States Club dinner this evening. We have an hour of social time and raffles and such then we're having a catered, three-course roast beef dinner from one of the local fine restaurants.

After dinner, the entertainment will be the University of Arizona Encore group. They are all freshmen in the Performing Arts program at the school. They have in the past performed such things as a tribute to the Gershwins, telling their stories while singing and dancing to a medley of their songs. They are really talented and a highlight of our year.

It's a chance to spend some time with mom, too. I'm looking forward to it. Hope I don't blow away!
