Ghosts of lobsters past......
We went to Harbor Fish today to get haddock. It's the only place my dad will eat fish from. I went down to the end of the wharf to see what I could see.
First of all, if this was smell a vision you would be sick.
There is big business in gurry. Gurry is the "by product of the fishing industry"
In plain English it smells disgusting. However to someone it's the smell of gold.
It must be attractive to someone because these HUGE vats of it are shipped out everyday. Actually the lobstermen use it as bait.
I thought it would be a PERFECT episode in a crime drama or book. It is SO disgusting.
I turned and saw this building and thought hmmmm the texture of the paint is awesome. I suppose in Mono it would be more interesting however, I love the color.
Just when I was thinking: damn I wish I was taller, the words seemed to pop out of the building. You can google Trefethen lobster and you get about a gazillion probably better shots than this however, this one is mine.
No fancy tricks (OK I straightened it) or expensive lenses, or technical talk I don't understand.
Some days it's just easier that way.
Kind of like life.
Some days I kind of need it that way.
I laid in bed today and watched about a dozen episodes of "Comedians in Cars getting coffee" It's a Jerry Seinfeld show. Each episode is about 12 to 18 minutes.
definitely worth a look and listen.
Thanks so much for your comments on my band. I am going to try and put some of our recordings on Soundcloud. So if you can get Sound Cloud, you will be able to hear the full band. I can also put better links in.
OK off to cook dinner.
