Thaw, drip, re freeze , repeat.

I woke up and realized it was today already and I forgot to blip. So first things first,
We won't know until the first of the week.
Auditioning is a humbling experience at best.
Poor Shelly has had the cold/flu thing and really rallied to be there for the audition. I am so impressed and she sounded great. Talk about the show must go on....... I hope she is better soon. What am I talking about?
Well we auditioned for "Maine's got talent" yesterday. Talk about adrenaline rush. It's a hard thing to do. Turns out we could have just sent a cd to them however, the in person thing really is a better experience. There were four others there at the same time. It's really hard to sing and be judged. I mean we are all the time but, to be watched so intently and judged is really scary. Not for the faint of heart.
We performed two songs (including "The Parting Glass".)
So we don't know and won't know until the first of the week.
I promise I will post when we find out.
On the home front, I actually did a Pinterest thing yesterday. I made cookies from a cake mix. Get this: lemon cake mix, cool whip ( a frozen whipped cream thing which I suspect is made from chemicals,) and an egg. Rolled in powdered sugar. They do not suck. Today, pies and mini frittatas are the order of the day. I am a Martha Stewert clone this morning.

The first?
Neighbor boy's house after snow blowing. He turned the nozzle thing the other way and sprayed his whole driveway all over the front of his house. It's hysterical. I am so mean
The second?
Buried things under the snow. I may hold a contest to guess what they are.
But the third?
My front door.
The icicles I was told form when it's too hot inside and the heat escapes. Who knows? I just know the icicles form every year. Last year I got some cool shots of them. The door is being replaced in the spring. I still love the colors I chose.
It's now Sunday morning and I have to get up, feed my furry friends and get ready to start the day.
