Turning Point
This section of the Ovens River is skirted by an excellent wide sealed track.
It is a favourite walk and affords many pleasant memories.
Back in the late 90's this view was at the turning point of almost a daily 5km out and back run from home as an ageing father was challenged by his young teenage daughter.
Was a marvellous two year experience as we trained together and competed in quite a number of long distance events.
Yes...Beth ended up being able to beat me quite comfortably and went on to come 3rd in the 3km Victorian Junior Athletic State Championships.
Here is Beth all growed up now. :-)
