Empty Space

We had to trek to Birstal to 'Showcase' for a view of the new film by the Coen Brothers.

It's a brilliant film with a superb soundtrack about one of life's losers. Whatever our eponymous hero does is wrong, he chooses badly all the time, possibly because of the loss of his singing partner, possibly because he is not very nice to people and karma gets it's own back. The film features a mysterious cat which represents the mischievous ghost of his dead friend (?)

Why do modern cinemas have to be so big? We were 2 of 6 in our showing and the whole show seemed to be run by 2 members of staff! Maybe it's full at weekends?
