Those lights at the top of the picture are other platforms out in the North Sea. It's funny - the UK economy depends heavily on the oil industry, but most folk have no idea whatsoever as to what is involved in getting that oil out of the ground.

It's like going to the moon - it's such an alien environment, and the technology involved and the costs involved are just astronomical.

And it's running out.
