Scrubbed up!

Well after last night's arduous journey to Portavadie , today was a much more relaxed affair. Began with a lovely breakfast, have to say a visit to Portavadie marina & a stay in their accommodation is well worth the trip. Our room was beautiful with a bed big enough to fit our entire family plus the dogs in. By the way you can bring your dogs to their cottage and apartments. Our friends were in the luxury apartment and boy was it amazing! It had a sauna, with a TV! , a balcony with stunning views and two big bedrooms each with a shower. We were the only guests there apart from the lovely bride & groom who had doped all the way from the island of Mersea!
The ceremony was conducted by an 'interfaith' minister who was lovely. The ceremony was right up on the top level of the marina with stunning views, the weather held, sun shin & bang! job done. reception was an assortment of cnapes and they were very tasty. All in all a wonderful day and yes I scrubbed up and donned the 'dress with added bling this time and I felt great. In the afternoon it was back into the togs & home.

PS the spandex knickers did the job & were well worth the ridiculous twenty quid I spent on them in November. Spandex rocks!
