1 7am clean up dog puke
8.30 am Car brakes fail almost back rnd a stationery police car
6.30pm Police pull me up for broken side light
what a days!
Abbie dog finds left over black pudding supper and scoffs it then regurgitates it. Then on way to work I come across a stationery cop car as someone had pranged their car on ice and when I brake nothing happens so I have to ditch car rather than prang cop car. No idea what happened so I gingerly drive past cop and drive rest of the way slowly to work. Then when leaving to make our way to Portavadie marina to meet with friends who have eloped from England and we are to be their witnesses, the bloody cops pull me up for a faulty headlights. Go back replace bulb then drive 80 miles to Portavadie. We had a nice meal and a dram or three ready for our big day tomorrow. Boy am I glad to chill in this luxurious bed. Not a day I would like to repeat.
