Colourful #3

An early start with my head in the books.
Assignment is coming on well and I got into it really well this morning.

Then headed off to work at 12.
I was helping train the 'new girl' Laura who is full of beans!
She has lots of experience but its teaching her the routines of this place thats the challenge. But she is learning quickly which is good.

Today I've been counting my blessings.
I'm very thankful for the job I have at Olive and Bean.
Sure, it has its challenges: difficult staff and customers and the busy pace of working there but so many blessings too: the friendly atmosphere, the perfect number of hours/ week to enable me to study for my MSc too, the regular pay. And its a lovely coffee shop/deli!

Its not often I take pictures of my local fruit and veg stall at the market.... but today it fitted in with my week theme of colourful.

Cycling home tonight was a lot of effort.
My body aches and my head hurts.
The rain and wind were not helping me get home any faster.
And I miss that special someone a lot tonight.
