Colourful #2

This is a last minute blip, as I am sure you can tell!!
It is one of my favourite mugs here at uni.
Todays been another long day in uni with some challenging class dynamics!!

I then went to the cinema to see '12 years a slave' with a few coursemates.
A really harrowing and emotional film about the life of a upper class black man when he gets tricked into slavery.
The story and imagery is horrific but sadly these things still go on today.
It was so powerful and emotive. If you have seen it, I would love to hear your thoughts.
I just want to apologize on behalf of my skin colour to those who have been damaged and abused and hurt by colonial powers and authorities. It breaks my heart.

I hope that I can make a difference in my own small way.
