The Eagle has Landed

This evenings cocktail bar is The Alchemist in Manchester. This is a sharing cocktail in a very fine eagle shaped decanter. Excellent place, though the banging tunes were a bit too much toward the end of the evening.

I sampled the delights of Piccadilly Records after waking up far later than expected. Despite a bright start the Manchester weather returned to its default state of pissing rain and I had to seek refuge in The Arndale Centre. Not all bad as I found a Yo! Sushi and a Lego Shop.

We booked dinner at Yang Sing, though we misread the menu and the extensive Dim Sum was only available in the afternoon. Set meal for 4 was very nice, despite the restaurant being overrun. There were a lot of angry people waiting at the bar drinking which meant there a lot of angry diners who were having to wait for their drinks orders. We also saw a bride to be who had the misfortune of looking like Matt Lucas from Little Britain.
