Naked Delight

Cocktails at Apotheca in Manchester. This one was some kind of floral Old Fashioned, we also tried Violet and White Chocolate Martinis, Espresso Martini, Apothecalypse and something with chocolate that was set on fire. Great place.

Travelled down to Manchester on the 14:16 train after a few emails back and forth re corrections to the magazine. Journey was uneventful if a bit loud.

Got to the hotel in Manchester which was pleasant without being exeptional, we had booked a one bedroom executive apartment but it had two bedrooms. And as there was no bedroom furniture such as drawers or wardrobes this was very helpful as the second bedroom served as a floordrobe.

Daughter and boyfriend came around about 8 and we headed out for some drinks, starting at Pieminister for some very nice pies. Then we headed to aforementioned Apotheca before deciding to head back to the hotel with some wine as there was a lot of catching up and conversation to be had and the busy bars on Manchester on a Friday night were not exactly conducive.

Kids left at about 3AM by which time I was well and truly ready for bed and a few more naked delights.
