Allt Utha
This is another big upright rock today, this one standing in the river channel oblivious (so far) to the thousands of tons of water that cascade around it. The river was a relative trickle today and was barely recognisable from the torrent we had yesterday. I was able to step across with a bit of care.
The back remains sore and stiff but eases off after walking for about thirty minutes.
I met a gentleman on the site returning from a day in the hills. He was doing the Corbetts in a very patient and carefully planned manner. He explained about his other recent trips to hills between here and Moidart and he did not seem bothered at all that today's outing hadn't gone quite to plan. He had enjoyed some great views towards Ben Nevis but turned back early as the snow was quite tiring walking.
We are complete at this site for the moment.
