Aberdour Castle and St Fillan's Church

This morning I went to see my friend Barbara in Aberdour (Fife-Scotland) and we had a walk around the two beaches of Aberdour. Despite the weather reports about extreme weather conditions there wasn't any problem, in fact the sky broke open a couple of times.

Here's a pano of 4 stitched pictures of Aberdour's St Fillan's church, 900 years old! St Fillan’s dates back to the early 12th Century. The church is situated in a graveyard just outside the walled gardens of Aberdour Castle, of which you can see the ruin on the left hand side.
The church was granted to Inchcolm Abbey at its foundation in 1123.
It fell into ruin over the years, but was restored in 1925-26.
Originally a narrow rectangle, the church has been altered several times over its lifetime.
Unfortunately a fire broke out in December 2013 after a thunderstorm damaging the organ, flooring and the roof.
I did make a mono version too !

We're back home now, later this afternoon we flew back to Belgium !
