Wherever there is sewing, there is Twenty

I'm making Betsy a dress to wear in her school production of Grease.

I made some changes to the bodice - I lined it with the same fabric and also added a layer of interfacing to make it stiffer and thicker.

I've made the skirt as well and tomorrow need to put them together and add the zip. That will be the hardest bit. Then I will have to hem it, then add the straps. I'm changing the straps as well, making them wider. I only started it today so I'm pleased that I got so much done, especially as I made the bodice to the pattern first before discarding it and completely remaking it. I'm also making her a white net skirt to go underneath.

I was very busy today - I also did the weekly shop and a pile of washing and ironing plus made a spaghetti bolognaise. I feel very virtuous!

We are watching a TV programme called The Jump. It is just the sort of rubbish we enjoy watching.
