Upton Pepperpot.

On the way home today I stopped briefly at Upton. This distinctive building is known as 'The Pepperpot', it is the tower of a Medieval Church which had the top part added during the 1700's.This is all that is left of this church now as during the 1800's it had become too small and was replaced with a larger one in another part of the town. It is now a Tourist Information Centre.
