A little trip to the markets

As we are still suffering from jet lag, having not slept a lot last night, we decided to spend the day exploring the old local market. It was like nothing we had ever experienced before, so it was really interesting to visit. Although we didn't buy a lot, we did manage to get a few postcards to send back home, and this gorgeous acrylic painting (in the photo) which with a lot of haggling, we managed to get at a more reasonable price. Today was also our first experience of tuk tuks which were a lot of fun, but also pretty scary as the roads here are a complete free for all!
