And where now!

Today I had agreed to collect a horse for one of the ladies on the yard, this led to also collecting another ladies trailer from "nearby" ! Killing two birds with one stone so to speak! I had been warned it was tight, bendy and steep.
We set off in the pouring rain to the West Riding and a place beyond Halifax and collected the trailer. As we approached the location of the horse we met a car on the narrow, dry stone walled lane, who could not reverse and asked if I could back her car up to a place where I might pass with the trailer! Who is letting these people loose?
On arrival at the above pictured location at a descent angle of 1 in 3 I was wondering whether I had bitten off more than I could chew!! With two of the cars moved the parked trailer pushed back some, I did manage to get around the hairpin bend and back up in to the yard entrance and complete the turnaround !
Both horse and trailer safely back to our East Riding yard, not a run I want to do often. Had hoped to capture some of the West Riding scenery but the weather and difficult driving condition put pay to that. I feel an early night calling :¬}
