(Flower)potted Squirrel

He’s pot-diving for peanuts and having a fair amount of success since I scattered a generous handful there just for that purpose. I bought some shelled peanuts for the squirrel gang hoping they’d appreciate not having to work so hard, and they do seem to be a big success, but I don’t what to spoil them (I think that ship has sailed).

If fellow blippers who are freezing and digging out from under snow in other parts of the country should happen to notice the budding hydrangea in the pot, I apologize. We've simply not had winter here in the Pacific Northwest other than a week or two of cold weather, one insignificant lame snow day, a little rain and some wind. We're beginning to see signs of spring which is a bit frightening since February could bring some cold surprises. I’m keeping the boots handy.
